A note on insurance,
A very important part of picking a flooring contractor is finding a hardwood company that has adequate insurance. Remember that a contractor who enters your house without proper insurance could cost you thousands of dollars, as the final liability of an accident could fall to the homeowner.
Getting verification is as simple as a phone call from the flooring contractor to his/her insurance agent. A copy of their General Liability (which covers damage to your house) and Workers Compensation (this takes care of the contractor and employees should they get injured on your property) Insurance can be faxed or emailed to you usually the same day, or mailed within a few business days from the insurance company. If the contractor says differently or tries to hand deliver verification to you, chances are there is no insurance.
SandMasters feels that proper insurance is a must, to keep our employees protected, and more importantly, to safe guard you.
